St.Martin / Maarteen is a tropical Caribbean paradise located in the northern Caribbean just south of Puerto Rico.This 37 square mile gem is the world’s smallest land mass of two distinct nations, French and Dutch co-existing in perfect harmony.St.Martin (French) is administered by the French Department of Guadeloupe while the other half is part of the federation of the Dutch Antilles – Curacao, St.Maarten, Bonaire, St.Eustacius and Saba.
...There are 36 lovely, white sandy beaches spread all over the island. Each has its own charm and atmosphere. You can choose from isolated, romantic little coves to long expansive beaches where there is day and night action to thrill you. Some beaches are supported by waves high enough for surfers while the calmer waters are ideal for families with kids. There are nude beaches where the naturalists enjoy optional clothing beach life. Still some others are busy while the deserted tiny ones are snuggled between rocky cliffs.
